Harvest America was awarded the Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program for 28 counties in Western Kansas for 2017 – 2018!

Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) is a program designed to help income-eligible households with rent, rental deposits, utility deposits and utility assistance.
TBRA assistance is available in:

Barber, Barton, Clark, Comanche, Edwards, Finney, Ford, Grant, Gray, Greeley, Hamilton, Haskell, Hodgeman, Kearny, Kiowa, Lane, Meade, Morton, Ness, Pawnee, Pratt, Rush, Scott, Seward, Stafford, Stanton, Stevens and Wichita Counties.

Through a partnership with Real Men Real Leaders and Alta Brown Elementary School in Garden City, Kansas, 5th and 6th graders and their mentors read to younger children to instill the love of reading and the example of leadership at a young age.
