Our Governing Board
Harvest America is governed by a tripartite Board of Directors which represents the communities that the agency serves. The Board is comprised of three sectors:
- one-third of board members are democratically selected representatives of low-income individuals and households
- one-third of board members are representatives who are local public officials or their appointees
- one-third of board members are representatives of the private sector which includes community based agencies, education, faith based organizations, local businesses or other private entities in the community
New members are selected by the standing Board to ensure tripartite compliance and balance in representing the many communities we serve.
